5 Amazing Things – Do When You Are Bored

Life is amazing, even if some of us don’t agree with it. We are always amazed at how things don’t turn out the way we want them to, it’s never boring. But, still we hear people say “I’m bored, what do I do?” Well here are some amazing things to do when you are bored.

Watch a funny video
According to Wikipedia: “Boredom is an emotional state experienced when an individual is left without anything in particular to do, and not interested in their surroundings. It is a condition characterized by perception of one's environment as dull, tedious, and lacking in stimulation.”

Humour is a powerful antidote to boredom as it helps alleviate dullness. Technology has made it so easy now to have access to humour – get online and type ‘Humour’ on YouTube, and humour is at your service. Easy cure for boredom!

Read an engaging story
For people who love to read, when they get bored, the cure is as simple as picking up a book, magazine, kindle or log online to read something stimulating for their mind. Something that engages your mind to start ‘thinking’, ‘imagining’ or ‘visualizing’ is a hugely positive and productive boredom-buster technique.

Enjoy nature - Go for a walk
If you are bored because you have no one around to interact with, pick up yourself and get dressed to go for a walk and enjoy ‘Nature’ – it’s one of the most valuable resources available to us freely and unconditionally. It’s also becoming one of the most under-rated and under-utilized resource, with technology chaining us indoors and glued to our devices.

Nature has a hypnotic charm about it, which can be realized only when you focus all your senses to enjoy it – admire it, listen to it, smell it, touch it.

Help someone
Yes I know you would ask “How am I supposed to help someone when I’m bored, because I need help myself?”

Believe me, as soon as you bring this thought to your mind to help someone and actually start helping someone, your boredom will instantly disappear. You will be filled with happiness, positivity and motivation. It doesn’t need to be anything big, even an act as small as listening to someone who wants someone to listen to them is a huge help. It’s healing and transforming.

Listen to music
It’s no hidden secret that music can transform our emotions and state of mind in an instant. If music is your thing, choose a couple of tracks/tunes you have always loved to listen to and start enjoying them. When you’re bored, these would sound extra-special and resonate with you more than ever before.

Or if you desire an instant mind-shift, listen to subliminal sounds – these are easily available in mp3 or CD format. With the click of a button, this technology can help you conquer boredom and lack of motivation or stimulation.

So, go ahead - make your day with these simple steps - you don’t have to wait to be bored to try any of these techniques.

How To Boost Your Success – Simple And Powerful Ways

The word ‘success’ has different meaning for different people, even though the most common underlying feeling or emotion associated with this word is ‘happiness’.

It’s amazing how the entire mankind is seeking, struggling for and striving to achieve just this one emotion of happiness, whether in relationships, finance, health or spirituality. However, success in achieving happiness still generally eludes us, and people keep enquiring ‘How to boost your success and happiness in the face of challenges’.

Why do we do what we do?
When I was a child, I used to wonder why adults couldn’t live happily together, why they wouldn’t work hard and with honesty to be successful, and why they couldn’t just be happy. Little did I realize while it was easy for adults to talk about love, peace and honesty, these were only buzz words that were out of reach of them because they were caught in the whirlpool of their own habits.

Years later, when I got the opportunity to study the intricacies of human mind, I now understand that most of what we become as adults is the result of what our subconscious has embraced in our childhood. And even more amazingly, our subconscious controls us in whatever we do.

In other words, our personalities are a reflection of what’s stored in our subconscious. As adults, if people lack self-esteem, motivation and confidence, or they suffer from depression or addiction, or they develop phobias, emotional troubles and health problems, most of this can be traced back to what their subconscious stores.

How to use subconscious mind power for success
Having understood this, it’s important to remember that the subconscious plays a very important role in the basic functioning of our life, storing all the requisite memories and working with a positive intention to preserve and protect us.

However, at the same time a few of those stored concepts can obstruct us from achieving our true potential and the excellence we strive for. The question now is how we can change and utilize these concepts to overcome the obstacles.

Samuel Johnson (writer, poet and moralist) said- “The chains of habit are too weak to be felt until they are too strong to be broken.”

While it may seem that habits are hard to change, human research has also discovered proven and accomplished techniques that can not only help overcome mind-set obstacles, but also achieve that without massive effort and in a short period of time.

Some of these success resources include subliminal recordings, NLP techniques, creative visualization processes and hypnosis methods. Advice on these techniques is also available in the form of e-books, videos and online forums.

If you’re ready and willing to open your subconscious to positive change, the benefits can be far-ranging - gaining better control of the subconscious, removing limiting beliefs and installing new ones, financial abundance, better relationships, improved health and more.

Discover Life-changing Benefits Of Subliminal Messages

Subliminal messages are now increasingly becoming popular and being used as an effective approach to have a transformational impact on the subconscious mind. The benefits include – gaining better control of the subconscious, removing limiting beliefs and installing new ones, financial abundance, better relationships, improved health and more.

Our perception of the role of the subconscious in the scheme of things has broadened over the past few decades as it becomes a significant area of research. It’s been believed that outer stimuli are received by our conscious mind, processed and acted upon to produce a result that may or may not be to our liking.

On the other hand, several psycho-analysts and researchers have emphasized that our subconscious mind has a huge impact on our results, without us even realizing.

According to Wikipedia:
“Subliminal stimuli (literally ‘below threshold’), contrary to supraliminal stimuli or ‘above threshold’, are any sensory stimuli below an individual’s threshold for conscious perception.”

Effect on subconscious
While some research has found that subliminal messages do not produce strong or lasting changes in behaviour, a recent review of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) studies shows that subliminal stimuli activate specific regions of the brain despite participants being unaware.

The concept may be easily understood as simply as the effect watching a movie has on your mind – a comedy makes you feel happy, a romantic movie makes you feel emotional, while a thriller may leave you with clasped hands and stiff muscles… all without these being a ‘reality’ of your life.

When was the last time you just ‘thought’ of a rich, decadent chocolate cake and ‘drooled’?

How subliminal messages work
While the mystery of the subconscious gets unravelled, it’s obvious that external sensory stimuli have the potential of taking a seat in our subconscious mind, temporarily or forever.

When you’re awake and ‘conscious’ of your surroundings, you can perceive the things around you. But that’s only to an extent, as there are lots of continuous occurrences in the background every day that we never even realize or perceive.

The concept of goal-oriented subliminal messaging works in a similar way. With the help of specially created recordings, subliminal messages and suggestions play in the background – these get absorbed in your subconscious even though you may not ‘consciously’ perceive them.

Following regular use of these recordings, your desired goal starts to 'unconsciously' play out in your daily life, all without any ‘conscious’ effort.

Types of subliminal messages

  • Subliminal Audio: It is a really easy way of accessing your subconscious mind, as you simply put on your headphones and start listening to ‘specific messaging’ audios for your desired goals, and reap the benefits.  As a result, subliminal audios are becoming hugely popular.
  • Subliminal Video: With the help of installed software on your computer, subliminal messages are flashed rapidly on your screen at virtually undetectable speeds. This helps convey thousands of positive commands (usually called 'Affirmations') at speeds that are bypassed by your conscious mind, all while you are busy working on other things on your computer.
Traditionally, subliminal messaging has been used as a tool for better memory, focus, motivation and confidence, but with continued research and development, you can now get albums to help you reach success towards virtually any goal. It’s important, however, to be aware of a lot of misinformation and any tall claims about subliminal messaging.

The benefits from the use of subliminal messaging technology can be life-changing, if you’re ready and willing to open your subconscious to positive change. For more information on the latest subliminal messaging products and freebies, visit Success Download

Harmony - 1

We wake up everyday with a number of questions on our minds - some general and some specific, some routine and some new. There are not only questions, but some answers too. There are some hidden anxieties and hopes as well. Then there are ideas, thoughts, fears, pains, desires and expectations. Sometimes, all this feels in perfect congruity, and at other times everything seems convoluted.

This sequence continues as the day progresses. Some questions get answered; others keep on struggling for them. More questions keep getting added to the list. The multi-dimensional human processing unit (HPU) takes it in all, goes through the grind, registers some of it in memory, expels some of it, and at the end of the day has an updated report ready for us to peruse. This seemingly unending cycle carries on day in and day out till the HPU meets its expiry.

With its innumerable facets, life is an astounding phenomenon. As human beings, we come face to face with the naturally existing struggles as well as the struggles of our own making. The biggest and most important, and perhaps the simplest, question we all seem to not find an answer to is : how do you live life happily? Obviously, a simple question as that doesn't seem to have a simple answer.

Not just a log

I intend to write to not just create a web log, but share my knowledge of everything with everyone with the aim of creating a positive change and spreading cheer around. The motivation to write comes from a strong belief in changing the focus of our belief systems towards appreciating the positives around us and attracting more such forces into our lives. It also comes from the belief that all human beings have immense potential that needs to be realised and channelised to benefit the humanity as a whole.
